Designed for a California-based family who cherishes coming home to gather and entertain, A Residence embodies the warmth of family connection wrapped in refined modern elegance. This 2-Storey home was thoughtfully styled and upgraded to reflect the clients’ lifestyle and taste — timeless yet inviting, sophisticated yet grounded in comfort.
Our design approach focused on enhancing existing spaces rather than a full renovation. The goal was to breathe new life into the interiors through selective upgrades and curated styling.
Custom 10-seater dining set made from Teakwood by ROHW Furniture
The dining area, once modest, was transformed into a statement of conviviality — now accommodating a grand ten-seater dining table perfect for family feasts and reunions. Every detail was carefully chosen to balance luxury with functionality, ensuring that each corner could host both intimate moments and larger gatherings.
In the living area, the design intervention centered on comfort and proportion. The former small sofa was replaced with a larger L-Shaped Sofa, creating a cozy yet elegant focal point that anchors the room. This new setup not only enhances flow and seating capacity but also encourages conversation and togetherness, perfectly aligning with the family’s love for entertaining.
The outdoor area completes the home’s social narrative. By introducing lounge seating and a variety of chairs, we transformed the exterior into an alfresco extension of the living space — a welcoming venue for casual get-togethers and evening relaxation. The seamless connection between indoors and outdoors reinforces the family’s active, community-oriented lifestyle.
Ultimately, A Residence is a testament to how thoughtful styling and subtle upgrades can redefine the way a home feels and functions. Every piece, texture, and color was chosen to mirror the family’s personality — modern, elegant, and heartfelt — proving that sometimes, all a space needs is a little refinement to truly feel like home.
