This 2-storey townhouse designed for a family of three celebrates both functionality and personal expression.

This project began in 2023, alongside the ongoing construction of the subdivision by the developer. Through close coordination with our trusted interior contractor and the unwavering patience of our client, we were able to steadily bring the design vision to life.

The design is grounded in a warm palette of walnut wood textures paired with limewash paint in a concrete finish, creating a cozy and organic feel throughout.

A five-panel floor-to-ceiling mirror serves as the main accent of the space, visually expanding the room and amplifying natural light.

Our client, an avid collector of refrigerator magnets, inspired a mini hallway gallery on the second floor where her collection now takes center stage. Our client’s daughter, on the other hand, has love for K-pop collectible albums and merch, so it was also thoughtfully considered, with a dedicated space to display her growing album collection.

The townhouse originally had a three-bedroom layout, one room was reimagined into a dual-purpose music and guest room—a creative space that reflects the family’s personality and lifestyle.

The kitchen and dining area were tailored to the client’s needs—combining practicality with thoughtful design.

The kitchen may be small, but we maximized every inch by extending the overhead cabinets up to the ceiling. This additional vertical storage is perfect for keeping occasional-use items as its neatly tucked away. While such a setup might seem excessive to some, in a home with limited space, every square inch truly counts.

One of the key design challenges for this project was the limited floor area on the ground floor. To meet the client’s needs, we combined the kitchen island and dining table into one multifunctional piece—complete with drawers and shelves for added storage.

This custom design not only maximized space but also introduced a dynamic shift in elevation, breaking the uniform seating height and adding visual depth to the open layout.

Overall, this home embodies the idea that simplicity can make a lasting impression.

Every design element—from personalized collections to space-saving solutions—was planned to enhance comfort and character. The result is a home that feels lived-in yet refined, simple yet full of heart.
